Works On Paper early sources Texture Shipwreck
In my most recent paintings, I have gone back in the origions of the photographic record to some of the first images ever captured on film. These acrylic paintings consider the distant light that fell on the worlds of Niépce, Daguerre, Gardner, Muybridge and others. They are meditations on old photographic widows that captured a very distant past.
