Ship Wreck

These are paintings culled from press pictures of rescues at sea and an old Liberty Ship now lost to storms and waves in Cape Cod Bay. I saw that mysterious wreck intentionally beached off a sand bar near Wellfleet as a child. Know as The Target Ship - as it was used by the Navy for practice well into the 60’s. Each summer I would return each summer to see the USS Longstreet rust way - moulded and pounded to disappeared under the waves in the late 80’s.
